The campsite is placed at the foot of the once fortified medieval city of Châteauponsac, set beside the Gartempe river. Amongst the many attractions available in this lively market town ( archeological museum, 12th c.church, castle ruins), the river itself provides the ideal spot for many leisure activities including boating. |
